Your Yamaha keyboard may have different USB ports depending on the model. Sonar Metronome is on for record as well as playback vii. 1.Connect a USB or MIDI cable to your keyboard. That way everything is more or less in sync, at least with reproducible delay. I only see the way to assign for example "PC-100" to start/stop in OMB and insert that messages into some MIDI track in sonar at positions that should happened, for example at the beginning and at the end of the song.
